Clifton Park Councilwomen scheming with town employee looking for a big pay day through litigation?

It wasn’t that long ago Councilwoman Amy Standaert rushed to the media claiming Supervisor Phil Barrett was not wearing a mask when he had Covid.

Barrett was outside standing by himself leaning on his vehicle, near no one.

Coincidently, town employee Matt Andrus sues the town of Clifton Park for not giving proper acclamations during Covid, hoping for a big pay day.

Councilwoman Amy Standaert conveniently paved the way for Andrus with the media complaining about Barrett even though it was misleading.

It doesn’t end here. Andrus decides to divert a voice mail to the town attorney, with intentions of portraying activity that doesn’t exist. He made sure he officially notified Amy Standaert to investigate.

Matt Andrus is the employee who falsely accused Supervisor Barrett of putting his hands on him, among other false accusations. It has become apparent Amy Standaert and Matt Andrus work together to try and eliminate Barrett and town attorney McCarthy from office.

The three councilwomen Standaert, Walowit, and Flood wanted an outside law firm to investigate the hostile workplace. They had egg on their face when Andrus was found negligent.

Despite the truth coming out, councilwomen Lynda Walowit, Amy Flood, and Amy Standaert voted NO to discipline Andrus. It must have been a big disappointment to them McCarthy and Barrett were cleared.

You have to ask yourself why would three councilwomen support a town employee who has made false accusations, deliberately try and set up employees, and sue the town hoping for a big pay day?

Which one if not all, are in on it and will have Andrus do on the inside what needs to be done to give their bogus lawsuit some much needed merit?
