School Board Candidate Martha Devaney Has a Financial Mess on Her Hands.

Saratoga Springs School Board Candidate, Martha Devaney has several unresolved financial judgments, dating back to the mid-late 1990’s totaling ~$40,000.

Judges in three separate counties in NYS, placed judgements against Devaney in 1994, 97’ & 99’. These judgements remain outstanding today according to a Freedom of Information request obtained through the Saratoga County Clerk.

· 1999 – Albany County/NYS Department of Taxation and Finance - $677.25

· 1997 – Warren County - $37,297.19

· 1994 – Saratoga County - $2,265.43

Devaney is a former Bernie Sanders delegate to the Democratic National Convention

The primary responsibility of a member of the school board is to oversee the finances of the school district. Saratoga Springs has a budget of ~$135M.

Martha is running for the Saratoga Springs Board of Education. Election Day is May 17th
